Become an NSA Member

The NSA Austin Chapter's meetings and activities are free of charge, and we welcome anyone who stutters or has an interest in stuttering to join our group. However, we encourage you to consider becoming a paid member of our national association.

You can become a member in two ways:

Members receive a variety of benefits, including a one-year subscription to Letting Go, the NSA's cornerstone periodical distributed to thousands since 1981, as well as access to other brochures, publications, and other resources geared towards children, teenagers and adults who stutter, and their families.

By supporting the NSA, you are helping to change lives!

For thousands of children and adults who stutter, the NSA is a lifeline. It is an organization that truly changes lives through support and empowerment, and the message that stuttering does not have to stop anyone from living a happy and successful life, and to their full potential. The NSA is also a terrific resource for speech-language pathologists (SLPs), student SLPs, doctors and other professionals.

As a nonprofit organization, the NSA relies primarily on the support of its members to stay afloat. Read Where Does Your Money Go to celebrate the many ways the NSA helps people who stutter through support, education, advocacy and research.
