Regular monthly meetings

If you are a person who stutters, our chapter meetings are an excellent place to gain support and information, and to befriend and become inspired by others who stutter.

A typical meeting presents opportunities to practice speech techniques, and to be open about our speech by sharing challenges and concerns, as well as insights gained. We provide a supportive and friendly environment to move towards individual goals, such as stuttering more openly, working on fluency enhancing techniques, or confronting new speaking situations.

Other chapter activities

We also hold a number of social events throughout the year, and a holiday party each December. Each fall, we host an "Open House" at the University of Texas, specifically geared towards bringing the stuttering and professional communities together.
